Agency Liaison Volunteer

Looking for a great way to learn more about yourself while you learn more about important issues in our community? Consider becoming an Agency Liaison Volunteer with United Way of Winnipeg.

Agency Liaison Volunteers (ALVs) are key to ensuring Winnipeggers' donations to United Way are being carefully invested and managed throughout our network of nearly 100 agency partners.

ALVs are integral to the process of renewing funding contracts and completing annual monitoring meetings for each of United Way's agency partners. In this role, ALVs are uniquely positioned to support agencies as they work to create lasting change and better lives in our community.

Together with United Way staff and other volunteers, ALVs generally meet with agency partners once each year, requiring an annual commitment of approximately 22 hours, including six hours of training.

It's a terrific opportunity to help shape the future of our community while you develop and enhance your own leadership, problem solving and critical analysis skills.
