Provides support and employment opportunities to adult Aboriginal ex-offenders in Winnipeg's North End. Participants are empowered to set their own goals and provide support for one another. Rooted in cultural identity, program activities include cultural practices, academic instruction, life skills and work experience in the housing renovation industry.

| OPPORTUNITIES FOR EMPLOYMENT
Helps individuals with barriers to employment prepare for the workforce through pre-employment guidance, skills training, and job search assistance. With support from United Way, OFE also operates breakfast and clothing programs, and assists ex-offender youth ages 18 to 29 with skills development and employment.

| OYATE TIPI CUMINI YAPE
Recycles gently used donations of basic household items and furniture to women and children associated with agency partners including Alpha House, Elizabeth Fry Society, Ikwe-Widdijiitiwin, L'entre Temps des Franco Manitobaines, Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre, Native Women's Transition Centre, North End Women's Centre, Osborne House, Wahbung Abinoonjiiag, and W.I.S.S.H. (Women in Second Stage Housing). As well, the agency volunteer program helps participants gain experience, which can lead to opportunities for employment or advanced training/education.
