Offers a range of community based resources and services intended to meet the linguistic and cultural needs of the francophone community. French language counselling and related services are provided to women and children who have experienced violence. Other programs include orientation workshops for new Canadians whose first language is French. With United Way support, the agency offers literacy and job preparation/re-employment programs for both men and women. As a partner in the Winnipeg AssetBuilders Partnership, offers training that builds the capacity of low-income households through managing their finances and saving money to invest towards assets that will yield long-term benefits for individuals, their families, and their communities

Focuses on promoting healthy pregnancy outcomes and responsible parenting as it reaches out to high-risk parents and their children. PFSS provides comprehensive age-appropriate early childhood educational experience for children aged 0 to 6 years; emergency supplies; individual, couple and family counselling; and pregnancy testing. It also provides respite child day care, parenting classes,
a thrift shop, and life-skills and literacy programming for both men and women. There is no charge for services.
