Technology & Finance Division
The Technology & Finance Division includes credit unions, insurance and investment companies, small and large technology companies, and call centres. In 2007, the Technology & Finance division raised $1,424,638.

Cathy Nieroda is the Vice President, EDS Manitoba, responsible for building and maintaining strong executive relationships measured through client satisfaction, referenceability and loyalty. She is the single point of accountability for sales and delivery of all EDS business in Manitoba. Cathy is also accountable for developing the overall business plan to ensure profitable growth. She has over twenty five years of information technology and Government industry experience. She has extensive knowledge in relationship management, client service, business development, solution management and overall delivery management. Strong leadership competencies such as effective communications, analytical skills, broad business and technical knowledge, decisiveness, integrity, commitment and a strong focus on clients and staff. Cathy began her career at EDS in 1996 as an Account Executive. Cathy was named to the EDS Canada board in 2004.
Prior to joining EDS, Cathy spent 14 years with IBM Global Services in a variety of roles from client relationship management, product support, marketing, management and sales.
Cathy is actively involved in the Manitoba community. Cathy is a board member of the Information and Communication Technology Association of Manitoba. She is a past board and executive member of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce. She is an alumni of Leadership Winnipeg and has volunteered her time with the United Way. As a past volunteer for Women in Technology and Junior Achievement, she helped promote information technology careers to young women. Cathy has successfully introduced several EDS global programs into the Manitoba market including: EDS Global Volunteer Day – local staff annual volunteer day, EDS Foundation – $40,000 grant to the Nature Conservancy Manitoba Region in 2003, and EDS Technology Grants – 3 annual $1,500 grants for schools.
Cathy was born and raised in Winnipeg and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Winnipeg in 1982. She was the recipient of the Gold Medal in Mathematics at graduation.
