Community Leaders are leaders in our community that United Way connects with directly as they are not included in a traditional workplace campaign. The role of the Chair, Community Leaders is to ensure that these individuals are identified and engaged with United Way and to secure their support for the annual campaign.

Indu Brar is General Manager of The Fairmont Winnipeg hotel, a position she has held since January 2007.

Indu has over 17 years of knowledge and expertise in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining The Fairmont Winnipeg, Indu held the position of the Director of Operations, for The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in the Alberta Rocky Mountains where she was responsible for overseeing the daily operations. Ms. Brar also served as the Director of Rooms, both at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald.

Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Indu holds her CHA designation.
