The Major Corporations Division includes large private sector companies in the city plus several crown corporations & utilities. Campaign revenue from this division accounts for almost 29% of the total campaign revenue annually. In 2007, the Major Corporations Division raised $3,833,051.

Kelvin Shepherd is President, Consumer Markets of MTS Allstream Inc. In this role, he provides overall direction, strategy and leadership for the company in the consumer and small business markets, and is responsible for sales, service and operational support for customers in Manitoba. Mr. Shepherd also oversees the operations of AAA Alarms Systems Ltd., which provides home and business security services in Western Canada.

Mr. Shepherd joined the company in 2000 as Vice-President Network Services and Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Shepherd's most recent position, before becoming Consumer Markets President in 2006, was that of Chief Operating Officer of MTS Allstream's predecessor, MTS Communications Inc. His previous career included nearly 20 years with Saskatchewan Telecommunications in a variety of technical and management positions, most recently as Senior Vice-President and Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Shepherd was Chairman of the Executive Board for LCL Cable Communications Ltd. (Leicester, England) prior to its sale by SaskTel in 1995, and has participated in a number of international telecommunications projects through SaskTel International. From 1996 to 2000 Mr. Shepherd was the Chairman of the Board of TR Labs, a leading Western Canadian-based telecommunications research and development organization.

Mr. Shepherd is a registered Professional Engineer and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Manitoba. Mr. Shepherd is Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg.
