Government Division
The Government Division includes federal, provincial, and civic governments, plus agencies, boards, and crowns, and 17 Wing /C.F.B. Winnipeg. In 2007, the Government Division raised $1,188,498.

Sallie Caufield has served the community as a municipal employee since 1993 and is currently with the Archives & Records Control Centre. While there, she acquired a CAM:RIM (hons) from the University of Manitoba.

Sallie has been actively involved with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 500 since 2003 and, as the President of the Civic Services Unit, has served on its executive since 2005. She has been a table officer of the Local since 2006. Sallie is also an active member of the Winnipeg Labour Council, and participates in events held by its Community Services Committee. An on-going commitment to improving work and community life has lead to her participation in human rights, education and political action groups within the labour movement.

In 2005, Sallie moved from the suburbs to the heart of the North End, in part to better understand the challenges faced by Inner City inhabitants. For two years, she has been a volunteer with the William Whyte Residents' Association.
