Past Chairperson, Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees oversees all of United Way operations including the annual campaign.

Scott Sanders is a graduate of the University of Manitoba and has spent the majority of his professional career in Winnipeg. He is a business leader with over twenty years experience in the field of information technology and currently holds the position of Vice-President, Central Region for Online Business Systems. Prior to joining Online, Scott held similar leadership positions with EDS Canada Ltd., IBM Global Services, and MAI Canada Ltd.
Scott has been involved with numerous professional and community organizations for many years. He has served on the executive of many industry associations, non-profit groups and community based associations. Scott’s involvement with United Way began as a member of the Technology Advisory committee in 2001. He chaired this committee from 2003-2006, and he has also been a board member and member of the executive committee since 2003. In his current capacity of Chair, Board of Trustees, Scott is also active with the Winnipeg Poverty Reduction Council, the Campaign’s Leaders of the Way program, and as a member of the Golf Tournament Committee.
Scott shares his life with his wife Marlene and their three children; Laura, Emily and Jessica.
