United Way's Major Donor Cabinet
The Major Donor Cabinet includes individuals who personally invite peers to join them in contributing at the Major Donor Level ($5,000+). In 2008, the Major Donor campaign raised $3,819,689.

With more than 30 years’ experience in Canadian agriculture, Curt Vossen is currently Chairman of both the Grain Insurance & Guarantee Company and the Prince Rupert Grain Co. As well, he serves as Director for the Smart Park Development Corporation and the Richardson Centre for Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals.

Curt joined the Richardson organization in 1995 following several years with Cargill Limited. He holds a BA (English honours) and a B.Sc. (agricultural economics) from the University of Saskatchewan.

In addition to his commitment as Co-chair of United Way's Major Donor Cabinet, Curt is a member of the Rabobank International North American Agribusiness Advisory Board, the World President's Organization (Manitoba Chapter and International Associate), the Chief Executives Organization, and the Business Council of Manitoba. He is also a Director for CentreVenture and St. Mary's Academy Foundation, a Trustee for Richardson Foundation Inc., and Past Chair of the Board of Trustees for United Way of Winnipeg.
