United Way's Major Corporations Division
The Major Corporations Division includes large private companies throughout Winnipeg as well as several Crown corporations and utilities. Each year, this division accounts for almost 25 per cent of total campaign revenue. In 2008, the Major Corporations Division raised $4,510,043.

As President of Consumer Markets for MTS Allstream Inc., Kelvin Shepherd provides overall direction, strategy and leadership in consumer and small business markets, and is responsible for sales, service and operational support for Manitoba customers. He also oversees operations for AAA Alarms Systems Ltd.

Kelvin first joined MTS Allstream Inc. in 2000 as Vice President, Network Services and Chief Technology Officer. He also served as Chief Operating Officer for MTS Communications Inc. - MTS Allstream's predecessor.

Kelvin's career includes nearly 20 years with Saskatchewan Telecommunications - most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Through SaskTel International, he participated in a number of international telecommunications projects and served as Chair of the Executive Board for LCL Cable Communications Ltd. (Leicester, England). He also served as Chair of TR Labs, a leading western Canadian telecommunications research and development organization.

A registered professional engineer, Kelvin is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Manitoba. He is also Chair of the Board of Trustees for Victoria General Hospital.
