United Way's Schools Division
The Schools Division includes public and independent schools and school division offices throughout Winnipeg. In 2008, the Schools Division raised $453,459.

Tim Watters is the Director of School and Community Support in the Louis Riel School Division. He has worked in education for over 25 years, beginning as a grade five teacher at Prendergast School. He taught grades three to nine before moving into school and divisional administration. Tim left public education for one year to work in Human Resource Management with the Angus Reid Group.
Tim has enjoyed his involvement with volunteer organizations. Currently, he is a member of the St. Vital Community Action Network. In the past, he has coached community and school sports teams, served on the board of the Manitoba Business to Education Foundation, and volunteered during the Pan Am Games. Tim has also provided professional development provincially and within his school division.
Tim is an active supporter of United Way and has chaired past campaigns within his school division. Programs supported by United Way are a vital resource for school administrators and teachers. Tim has seen firsthand United Way’s important work in supporting families and children.
