United Way's Advancement Division
The Advancement Division includes a small group of accounts with huge potential to broaden United Way’s impact in the community.

Dave Johns is President of Winpak Division of Winpak Ltd., a position he assumed in 2003 after serving in various capacities over his career with Winpak.

He was born and raised in Winnipeg and is a graduate of St. Paul’s High School and the University of Manitoba where he earned his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree. He went on to obtain his Chartered Accountant designation and worked in the real estate sector prior to joining Winpak in 1987.

Dave has served on the boards of several non-profit and trade-based organizations, and previously assisted United Way as an account executive for the Major Corporations Division.
