SJR Students a Class Act

The banks of the Red River along Rover Avenue in Winnipeg are much cleaner now thanks to the efforts of about 50 students from St. John's Ravenscourt School.

Students clean up the riverbank adjacent to the Point Douglas neighbourhood of Winnipeg as part of a United Way Day of Caring
Partnering with the Point Douglas Resident's Committee, the students took their school spirit into the community and learned a valuable lesson in return: there is no substitute for action when it comes to making a difference in our city.
Way to go St. John's Ravenscourt! By working together to improve the health of our neighbourhoods, you're also contributing to the well-being of the people who live there and ultimately, building a stronger community for us all.
