As the temperature in Winnipeg dipped into the minus forties, Livingston Integrated Logistics kicked their United Way Koats for Kids drive into high gear.

Employees from Livingston Integrated Logistics in front of their "Wall of Warmth" - built with winter outerwear collected on behalf of United Way's Koats for Kids program.
In less than two weeks, they collected over 60 coats and close to 100 warm and woolly mittens, hats and scarves - double their original target.
"This group did great work reaching out to others whose daily challenges involve things our families take for granted," said Carolyn Love, director of strategic resources for Livingston Integrated Logistics. "Fantastic holiday spirit was shown by all."
Livingston Integrated Logistics is a division of Livingston International, a leading North American provider of customs, transportation and integrated logistics services.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of United Way's Koats for Kids program, which collects and distributes new and gently used winter outerwear free of charge to Winnipeg children and their families. Since 1989, 120 000 articles of winter clothing have been distributed throughout the city.
Koats for Kids is a partnership between United Way, CTV, the Winnipeg Sun, 1290 CFRW, United Way agency partner Oyate Tipi, Perth's, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service and AMJ Campbell Van Lines.
Individual donations can be dropped off at any Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Station, Perth's location or AMJ Campbell Van Lines office on Niakwa Road. For larger donations, including school and workplace coat drives, please call 586-KOAT (5628) or email to arrange for a pickup or drop-off.
Thank you Livingston Integrated Logistics and "Team Winnipeg" for working hard to help United Way and its Koats for Kids partners keep kids warm this winter!
