The Aboriginal Centre of Winnipeg provided a spectacular venue for United Way's Leadership Appreciation event on Thursday, April 30.

Rossbrook's Co-Executive Director Phil Chiapetta addressed the crowd and spoke about the importance of leadership along with 2009 Campaign Chair Jeff Zabudsky and Leadership Co-chair Stephen Chipman.
Leadership donors have been instrumental in broadening United Way's reach and impact in our community by generously committing to personal donations of $1200 or more annually.
During United Way's 2008 fundraising campaign, more 2353 Winnipeggers became leaders, contributing almost $7 million or 39% of total dollars raised.
Thank you to The North West Company for generously sponsoring this event, and to United Way leadership donors for showing everyone the way to create opportunities for a better life for everyone!
