Employee Campaign Chair
Participate as an Employee Campaign Chair
Workplace Employee Campaign Chairs (ECCs) are the ambassadors of United Way. An ECC is a volunteer within the workplace who would lead a team or a committee in organizing their United Way campaign. At minimum this consists of a kick-off, face to face canvass, a visible goal & wrap-up. The workplace campaign takes place between September and December, and spans a period of 1-2 weeks. Some workplaces, depending on their size, coordinate events and activities for the duration of their campaign.
Get Involved
If there is an existing United Way campaign in your workplace, approach the existing committee to find out how you can become involved.
Otherwise, an ECC may be asked by a senior within the company who has made initital contact with United Way. ECC's may also volunteer themselves.
If you're interested in starting a workplace campaign, you should first gain the consent of a senior representative within your workplace, and then contact a campaign representative at United Way Winnipeg to find out how to get started.
