Campaign Chair's Award - Non-business

The highest level of recognition an organization can receive through United Way, this award is presented to workplaces that demonstrate strong growth in campaign participation and contributions, as well as leadership.

To qualify, your organization must meet the following criteria:
  • Achieve an increase of 10% or more in your workplace campaign
  • Run a workplace campaign that performs at Gold Level (70% or more employees have contributed an average of $104 each directly to United Way)
  • Have a minimum of:
    • Three or more Leadership donors (for organizations with 40+ employees); or
    • One Leadership donor (for organizations with less than 40 employees)

Please check off four activities in which your organization has participated (To be eligible, nominees must have participated in four or more of the following activities):

We have participated in at least one United Way Day of Caring in the past three years.
We have participated in United Way's Sponsored Executive Leadership Development Program within the past three years.
Our CEO and/or other employees have volunteered with United Way in 2010 in the following capacity:
  • United Way focus groups and/or panel discussions
By completing our employee campaign prior to September 17, 2010, our organization qualifies as a United Way Pacesetter this year.
We hosted a presentation featuring a member of United Way's Speakers' Bureau in 2010.
Last year, we increased employee donations made directly to United Way and/or our number of donors by more than 25% and a minimum of $1000 over the previous year - earning Quantum Leap status in 2010.
A union member co-chaired our employee campaign this year.
