Spirit Awards 2010
Winnipeggers possess incredible community spirit and a spirit of generosity like no other. This is never more evident than during United Way of Winnipeg's annual campaign, when individuals and workplaces from across the city personify spirit in their passionate support for better lives for everyone.
More than 1100 organizations and thousands of employees support a United Way workplace campaign each year. While all play a vital part in our overall success, some stand out for innovation, creativity and commitment. United Way's annual Spirit Awards celebrate and recognize these individuals and organizations.
Instant Star awards are automatically calculated based on contributions made directly to United Way of Winnipeg and do not require nominations.
Following is a list of volunteer awards requiring nominations.To be eligible, workplace campaigns must be completed by December 13, 2010.
- Campaign Chair's Award - Non-business (government; health & social services; school or university accounts)
- Campaign Chair's Award - Business (major and national corporations; industry; technology & finance; advancement; general business or professional accounts)
- Canvasser Team/Canvasser Award
- Employee Campaign Chair Award
- Best in Show
Awards will be handed out at a Celebration Gala in January 2011.
